All repairs carried out under the manufacturers warranty will be free of charge, provided that proof of purchase is presented and that the relevant conditions of use have been adhered to.
Please note any manufacturers exclusions. e.g. cleaning, fuses, setting up, consumables, no fault found etc. and in some cases carriage will be charged for on a parts and labour basis.
If a warranty claim is subsequently declined by the manufacturer for whatever reason then the repair will be charged at full retail cost plus a £15 administration charge.
If a manufacturer or 3rd party has offered to contribute towards the repair either by supplying parts, labour or both you will still be liable for the difference between their payment and our estimate or charges
Please call for our separate scale of charges. These are fixed labour charges per item. Our minimum parts charge is £5.00. All parts fitted remain the property of MWES until paid for by any party.
Unless an estimate for repair is requested at the time of booking the repair it will not be provided unless the total costs exceed our preset limits. These vary from product to product so please check at the time of booking if this is likely to be a problem.
Whilst every effort is made to accurately estimate the work required we reserve the right to submit a revised estimate should the need for additional work become apparent. The estimate is issued according to the fault reported based on information gathered from the customer or the customers’ agent. If a receipt has been given then the fault reported details are on the receipt. In certain circumstances parts may not be returnable to the supplier and the customer will be liable to pay for the parts.
Estimates are valid for 30 days. After 60 days equipment will be disposed of if not accepted or declined. A disposal fee may be charged.
All non warranty repairs carry a 90 day guarantee, on the repair, from the day of completion. Equipment repaired under warranty is covered only by the original manufacturers warranty terms and excludes our 90 day guarantee.
Whenever possible please transport equipment in its original packaging. Whilst every care is taken of any products in our care we cannot be responsible for any marks caused by handling or cleaning. All items are inspected prior to acceptance for repair but we will not be responsible for marks that become apparent after cleaning or for items viewed in low light conditions.
Due to restricted space, repairs will be stored for a period of 60 days from time of notification of completion or estimate. After this time equipment may be disposed of or sold to recoup costs. MWES will not be liable for any losses incurred as a result of non collection.
In the case of a loan machine been provided the customer will be liable for any loss or damage to the loan set. A loan must be returned at the time of completed repair or at any time requested whether the repair is completed or not.
Insurance estimates must be paid for in advance. Repairs must be paid for in full on completion. Please note that insurance inspections are not returned unless authorised in writing by the insurance company. If an initial report is requested then the cost of this may be in addition to the cost of repair.
We reserve the right to refuse an item for repair or may delay repair if the proof of purchase for under guarantee repairs is not supplied at the outset.
By submitting a piece of equipment for repair the customer accepts all the above conditions.

We accept cash or most cards. For card transactions performed off site the card owner must be present and will be required to sign for the transaction. Sorry no cheques.
We know that unexpected things happen and there might be an instance when you can’t be there to receive your delivery. If so, don’t worry but please inform us before the agreed delivery date and we’ll arrange another convenient date with you.
We shall have no liability to you in respect of any delay or failure to deliver a product due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including (without limitation) delay or failure caused by adverse weather, strikes or transport problems.
We shall not be liable for any indirect losses you may suffer, including any loss of profit, income or anticipated savings as a result of our failure to comply with these terms or our negligence. Save that our liability in respect of any death or personal injury caused by our negligence shall not in any way be restricted.
These terms, constitute the entire terms on which we will provide products to you and cancel and supersedes all prior arrangements and representations, whether verbal or written. We may amend these terms from time to time at our discretion without notice to you. Any amends will be posted on this website and will supersede any terms and conditions previously published by us. No delay or failure by ourselves in exercising or enforcing any of our rights or remedies under these terms shall operate as a waiver of those rights. You are responsible for checking the condition of the products delivered and must highlight any issues with the delivery team
If we are arranging a courier collection or delivery:
Please mark the outside of the package with the reference number you are given and please ensure you pack it well. We will not enter into claims for damage due to poor packaging. We cannot be held responsible for damage due to poor or insufficient packaging. As a guide the packaging should equal that or be better than the manufacturers original. A flight case around a unit may protect the unit but the case itself may suffer damage so this should also be boxed. We do not insure your package. This prevents fraudulent activity. In any case the insurance would not pay out if an item was not sufficiently packaged. If you feel the value of your item requires insuring then we suggest you cancel our courier and arrange to send the unit yourself. If you require insurance for the returned item please enquire. We cannot claim for uninsured items, they are at your risk in your packaging. Any damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Insured claims will not be entered into after this time. When signing for a return you should mark as “unchecked”. If you sign the courier as “received in good condition” then no claim can be entered into. The insurers decision is final. Our guarantee on a repair does not cover carriage.
We charge a storage fee for uncollected items that have been notified as ready to collect. The storage fee comes into effect 4 weeks from this date and is currently £6 a week or part of. We will dispose or sell items after 3 months from the notified date to recover any costs without further notice. Notification is taken as either verbal conversation, text, answerphone message or email.
